"Secrets of a Ghost’s Diary is a delightful mix of fantasy, mystery, and thriller. Mrs. Clifton hooks young readers by introducing them to her three authentic characters, and keeps them turning pages with her artfully crafted suspense-filled surprises. Nothing is impossible with the summer trio! "

Your book is the best mystery ever! My favorite part is when the ghost appears in the cemetery and I loved the big surprise at the end! By Blake Cecil
This is a fantastic mystery for all ages. Wonderful wording and very clever. Kids and adults will have fun reading it over and over. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. I can't wait for the sequel!! Karen Vetrano
I couldn't put this book down!! I read it in one evening. The author makes you feel as though you are there, my heart was pounding along with the characters . It is like watching an I-max movie! It is a great mystery, yet for anyone who is concerned, it is not scary, therefore I would recommend it for ages 9 and for adults alike. Teachers, this would be great summer reading for your students. My ten year old Grandson loved the story. I can't wait for the next book to come out by this Author!!! Linda Cecil
This is a charming and very well written book. It's a great introduction into the mystery and fantasy category of books for our young adult readers. The characters seemed to come alive, and their relationships to each other were wonderful as they got to know and like each other, little quirks and all. The ghost was a mystery and yet not too scary! She did a great job of creating the story, characters, and leaving a possible sequel??! I kept reading until I finished it! A definite must for tweens summer reading! They'll love it. Great job! Patricia LeMonde
I got your book yesterday. I brought it home last night to start reading it and my own 4th grader picked it up and immediately started reading it! He told me it sounds like an awesome story and he can't wait to find out what happens!! Thanks again! Julie Hiott Reading Coach
Secrets Lost in Time is an intriguing read all on it’s own, and even more-so after reading it’s prequel Secrets of a Ghost’s Diary. Dawn Clifton has done it again with another grape-bubble-gum chewing edge of your seat mystery that you just don’t want to put down! What always stands out for me with her writing is how accurate and detailed the descriptions are; as you read you instantly feel yourself in the moment, in the book with the characters. It was such a treat to imagine the future as it indeed may be one day with Shellac hairdos and communication via our minds instead of talking…. So fun. I don’t want to give too much away so I’ll try not to say too much. But suffice it to say that from start to finish, she’s done it again with another page turner that’s enjoyable every step of the way. I’m hoping for a # 3 to this series soon! The main characters are the same in this book as the first, with introductions to some other characters we’d heard and wondered about in book 1 Secrets of a Ghost’s Diary. Enjoyable read for any age – love this author! Jennifer Trainer
